Kate is the Managing Director at 7PR. She has worked in media and PR for over 25 years. She has always been fascinated by media since starting out working in production & reporting for BBC TV & Radio, Sky, IRN, TV & Radio Monte Carlo. She then jumped the fence to work in PR & took to it like a duck to water. She increased media coverage 7-fold in her first in-house position. After being head hunted to the next 2 agencies Kate set up her own PR consultancy, and has never looked back. Kate dreamt of establishing a boutique agency where client accounts would be handled only by senior team members in a highly personable way. Kate is motivated and works with energy and enthusiasm. She likes to give back through her work and particularly enjoys enlisting celebrity support for not-for-profit causes. She likes to travel and feels privileged to have worked on contracts & projects in Geneva, France, Ireland, Italy & Africa, and of course throughout the UK. Kate has 4 children, who she couldn’t be prouder of. Her hobbies include photography, dance and dogs. She can also be found early most mornings working out in the gym/swimming a few lengths before starting the day’s work.
