Brief: A business man invented ingenious see through bags in order to reduce fear in wake of terrorist attacks, also to speed up check in at airports. We were set the task of driving sales for this new range of rucksacks made out of clear vinyl.
Method: We decided to tie this project in with the current news agenda and to aim for media coverage on top target news channels. As our client lived overseas we needed him to propose an eloquent spokesperson who could be available in the UK to give TV, radio & media interviews at short notice. An appropriate individual was chosen and briefed.
Result: We achieved national media coverage for the bag which resulted in launching the product to market and continued sales. The demand for interviews was such that when we lifted the embargo on the story the spokesperson was dashing across London in a cab giving many TV & radio interviews at short notice.
